Let’s begin your journey together!
Free 15-minute consultation
Working with the right Therapist is important when you are navigating a pivotal moment in your life. It is necessary to feel comfortable with your Therapist from the first session. This helps you make the most progress on your journey and you will get the most out of your therapy. I offer a free 15-minute consultation, so you can determine if we will be a good match. During this time, we can talk about what you would like to get out of therapy, my approach, and whether my style resonates with you.
Mental Health Assessments
Assessments may be necessary when required by an employer, when a significant event happens and has a major impact on life and/or to give more definitive answers to any mental or emotional struggles you may be experiencing.
An assessment will provide you with some answers on how to navigate the next part of life and it can give employers insight into your ability to perform the duties of your job.
You will be asked a series of questions and you will complete a short battery of tests, all of which will be summarized into a report with recommendations.
Many romantic relationships are suffering because of poor communication, lack of connection or understanding of one another, poor intimacy, among other things, and are in need of a spark that will reignite a familiar flame. It may be challenging to explore these struggles alone when communication is a barrier.
Couples, or relationship, therapy is an opportunity to reset and reconnect. It is a space to be honest and vulnerable about needs and wants while understanding any shifts that may have taken place in the relationship. It is about exploring attachment styles in order to effectively understand and speak one another’s language. This creates opportunities for clarity, gentleness and bonding that will allow for meaningful change.
I offer a space that encourages active listening, understanding of perspectives and the practice of skills that helps improve communication, intimacy and foster a healthier relationship.
I am experienced in many evidence-based therapy modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment theory, Humanistic theory, mindfulness practices, and solution-focused therapy. I combine these into a holistic approach that involves physical health and nutrition and I tailor therapy to your unique needs. My work is especially helpful for those experiencing struggles with work-life balance, societal pressures resulting in anxiety and depression, relationship issues, trauma and self-esteem issues.
I have a special interest in providing therapy for working professionals struggling to manage life, relationships and career.
